Which gearbox does the Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid use?

The Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid uses a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox rather than the CVT common in other hybrids. It drives more like a conventional car.

Does a used Hyundai hybrid's battery last?

Hyundai hybrid batteries hold up well and carry their own warranty, longer than the rest of the car's. Ask a Hyundai dealer for a battery health check before you buy.

Is a Hyundai mild hybrid a real hybrid?

No, a 48V Hyundai mild hybrid never runs on electricity alone: the system only assists the engine and recovers energy under braking. To drive on electric power, look for a full hybrid or a plug-in.
