Is the Hyundai Kona DCT gearbox reliable?

The dual-clutch is generally sound, but long creeping in traffic heats its clutches. Hesitation or judder when pulling away calls for a check and, where available, a software update at a Hyundai workshop.

Which automatic Hyundai Kona uses the least fuel?

The Kona Hybrid is the most frugal combustion version, especially in town. The Kona Electric has no fuel costs at all and pays no IUC in Portugal.

Is the Hyundai Kona Electric an automatic?

Yes, like every electric car it has a single-speed reduction gear and no clutch, so it drives as an automatic. Paddles behind the wheel adjust the strength of regenerative braking.
