Is the Fiat Punto a good first car?

Yes, it is easy to drive, cheap to insure and parts are available at any garage. The newer versions, from the Grande Punto on, offer better crash protection.

What is the difference between the Fiat Grande Punto and the Punto Evo?

The 2009 Punto Evo is the Grande Punto's update: a redesigned front, a new interior and MultiAir engines with Start&Stop. In 2012 it became simply the Punto, with few visual changes.

Is the three-door Fiat Punto less practical?

If you often carry rear passengers, yes, as getting in means tipping the front seats. For driving alone or as a couple the three-door is just as practical and usually looks sportier.
