Which DS models have a manual gearbox?

The first-phase DS 3, DS 4 and DS 5 had five- and six-speed manuals, and the DS 3 Crossback offered one on entry versions. The DS 7, DS 9 and 2021 DS 4 are almost always automatic.

Is the DS 3 Performance a manual?

Yes, it only came with a six-speed manual, paired with the 208 hp 1.6 THP and a Torsen limited-slip differential. Check the clutch and differential, which suffer from hard driving.

Is a manual DS 4 better than one with the ETG6 gearbox?

For most buyers, the manual: simpler, cheaper to maintain and free of the ETG6 robotised gearbox's pause between shifts. The ETG6 only suits someone who wants two pedals in traffic and accepts its slowness.
