Question 1

Is the Dacia Spring practical in Lisbon?

Accepted Answer

For city commuting, yes: it is small, easy to park and cheap to charge. Its range and motorway performance are limited, so it suits short daily trips better than regular runs out of the city. Public charging uses the Mobi.E network.

Question 2

Why are LPG Dacias so common?

Accepted Answer

LPG is cheaper than petrol in Portugal, and Dacia sells bi-fuel versions from the factory, so the system is already on the registration document. The car keeps a petrol tank for when no LPG station is nearby.

Question 3

Are Dacia parts and servicing expensive?

Accepted Answer

Dacia shares engines and many parts with Renault, so parts are easy to find and most independent garages know the cars. Servicing usually costs less than for more complex brands.

Question 4

Does the Dacia Jogger have seven seats?

Accepted Answer

The Jogger comes with five or seven seats, and the third row is best kept for children or short trips. Check which layout a car has, as it is not obvious from outside, and note that a hybrid version joined the range later.
